Ameresco Canada Inc. announced today that it has finalized a $7.7 million senior secured credit facility for two of its Ontario based rooftop solar projects aggregating 2,069 kilowatts. The senior secured credit facility was arranged and structured through Travelers Capital Corporation, a unit of Travelers Financial Corporation.

US venture capital disbursements in cleantech companies decreased by 44% to $1.1 billion in Q2 2011 compared to the $1.9 billion invested in Q2 2010, while the number of deals fell 12% to 68, according to Ernst & Young LLP/Dow Jones VentureSource. Disbursement in Q2 2011 were 8% greater than the amount in Q1 2011.
